When I'm tired and exhausted after a long week, all I want to do is put together an easy meal for my family that I know they'll eat, but that won't send them jumping off the walls with preservatives, colours and flavourings (like store bought fast food), because I'm knackered right, and I want everyone to be calm and peaceful (and go to bed!)
So here's my Friday night pizza recipe for you to give a whirl. It has a few of my 'eat only sometimes' ingredients such as cheese, flour and bacon, but it's a great recipe for those of you that are transitioning to healthy food as it's a much better option than anything you'll buy at the supermarket or from a fast food joint.
