Squeeze'ems GIVEAWAY!

Just about every parent I know buys a squeezable yoghurt from the chilled section of the supermarket, so that they may avoid the inevitable tantrums and tears that generally accompany a trip to the supermarket. And I'm sure on at least one occasion the thought has entered each parent's mind, that this is a rather wasteful exercise when considering the effect on the environment. Enter Squeeze'ems - a refillable pouch to use on the go, with uses that are endless. This clever little invention made it's way into my life about a month ago, and since I've had it I LOVE it!

Meet Sam, creator and owner of Squeeze'ems who is generously giving away 5 small 80ml pouches and 5 large 200ml pouches to one reader today!

What inspired you to develop Squeeze'ems?

Being raised in Zimbabwe, we enjoyed simple, fresh and minimally packaged foods. My early life experiences, combined with my background as a child care educator, inspired the development of the Squeeze' ems range. I saw how many children enjoyed the pouches of yoghurt but thought there had to be a way to reduce the waste involved, as well as provide healthier options with home-made goodness!

Here at Nature's Intention I'm on a mission to help parents clean up their family's health, lifestyle and environment - how do you see Squeeze'ems supporting parents to do that?

Health: Families can feed their children home cooked, fresh organic produce and know exactly what is going into their pouches of food. Children with allergies and intolerances can now enjoy pouches with food that they can eat.

Lifestyle: Squeeze’ems reduce grocery costs, are easy to use on the run, are handy in the car and on camping trips. Our 80ml pouches are perfect on flights with 100ml liquid restrictions.

Environment: Squeeze'ems are reusable and recyclable! We also use minimal packaging to help reduce the impact our waste has on the environment

Your website has some amazing Squeezeems recipe ideas to get the creative cooking juices flowing for parents - what's your favourite recipe?

My favourite recipe_ has got to be the Power Brekkie porridge. It’s nutrious, delicious and easy to make!

What's your #1 tip for parents who are making positive health and lifestyle changes for themselves and their family?

Cook at home, choose fresh organic produce and use superfoods!

If you want to be in to win 10 Squeeze'ems from Sam then leave a comment below or on Nature's Intention facebook page telling me how Squeeze'ems will help you to improve you or your family's health, lifestyle or environment. Competition closes at 6pm today (AEST) and winners will be announced tomorrow. Competition is open to Australia and NZ entrants. Good luck!

  1. As an overweight woman with a four year old son and 2 year old daughter who are well on their way to becoming the same I need to drastically change our lifestyle. This little change (from store bought yoghurts etc to home made organic) will be the best first step we could take in regaining our health.

  2. My son (21 months)has just started with his two year old molars trying to break free, this leaves him not only irritable and upset but refuses to eat almost anything I put in front of him. Enter Squeeze'ems! I have cooked up a batch of homemade pear and apple purees and some custard to put in each squeeze'ems pouch. As an added hidden extra there is some cooked organic Quinoa in there too ;)
I have had these pouches for two weeks and already see a huge advantage of having them in the 'tupperware' drawer. My new mantra may just become you can never have enough Squeeze'ems!

  3. My daughter is very fussy when it comes to food, but I have found that if she helps to make it she will eat it. I would love to try out these as we could make some fantastic healthy options for my daughter to eat at kindy and hopefully there will be no more tears for her as this will be something for her to show all the kids at school! :)

  4. I'm always using yoghurt pouches for Miss M's lunches. While this is giving her her daily calcium needs it's costing me huge amounts of money in pre-packaged pouches which are clearly not good for the environment.
